Pregnant and Waiting
Here I sit at 35 Weeks with these twin girls...I find it interesting that I somehow feel better than I did a month ago. Yes, I am still nauseous and tired, but God has blessed me this week with great family and friends to support me. As I reflect, it is amazing to think that I am carrying two babies in my tummy. Wow, what a true blessing!! Just a few days ago I thought I would lose my mind with worry and stress and today I find myself filled with a great sense of peace and joy!
My parents have been spending the last few weeks here helping to get things squared away at the house for the arrival of our girls. They have been a tremendous help and Hank and I appreciate it very much! Kennedy is definitely a Momma's boy and I am concerned about him the most, but Gabi is very strong and seems to have a better understanding, so I am praying that she will help her brother to love our new, bigger family!
Thank you to all of you who have prayed for us and sent your love and well wishes our way! We hope that in a few weeks we will be announcing the arrival of our two new baby girls! Wishing you all much love and a very Happy 4th of July!

Back for good
Well, we are back for a while now that we have taken our last out of town trip until our baby girls arrive. We spent all last week in Orlando with Hank's Mom and family. My very brave husband not only took Gabi to Sea World on his own, Gabi and KK to Disney 4 times with Mom and Rob, but took them both to Hollywood Studios for the Special Star Wars weekend for 5 hours by himself!!! They had an absolute BLAST! Gabi is still talking about it...oh wait...Hank is still talking about it too!!! Kennedy just goes with the flow as usual, he just copies whatever Gabi says. Where was I? Well, I was either laying by the pool trying to be comfortable or resting in the pool trying to stay cool. We are 34 weeks now and a simple trip to the pool was about all the walking my body could handle. I will post some incredible pictures soon....Hank got us a new camera for our anniversary and it is FABULOUS for indoor/outdoor and water pics & video!
While in Orlando we also celebrated Gabi, Kennedy, and cousin Josh's birthday's in a joint Bday celebration at the condo. Judy bought a pirate cake, decorations and goody bags to go with. The kids had fun with that! Boy was it tough trying to get everyone in the same place for 30 minutes...poor Kennedy slept through it and had cake when he woke up.
Mom also took me out for a treat! She and I got pedicures and I also got a manicure to go with it! She found a great spot that had all these great packages. Thanks, Mom! It was such a nice pampering!
It was a very special and nice trip that I know Gabi will never forget! Probably be one of her first BIG memories. Check back in the next few days for the incredible pics and videos we got! You should see Gabi swim and dive to the bottom of the pool by herself!

Kennedy Turns 2
What a big boy!! Kennedy is now 2 and it seems like yesterday he was still being nursed every hour and was our little tiny baby boy. He is now walking, talking (with his funny deep voice), throwing things and chasing his sister. His Aunt Patti took him all day Sunday to celebrate. Aunt Patti has proclaimed birthday #2 as her day to spend with each of our kids. We are wondering if she will change her mind when the twins turn 2?? Patti had an adventure filled day with Kennedy that all started with a nap. Apparently, he fell asleep in the car and so they had to take a rest before they could get to the fun. They took a boat tour around Orlando and went to Patti's favorite The Outback for dinner where KK gobbled up every bit of his mashed potatoes. Here are some pics from their fun day together!

WEEK 32 Update

We had our 32 week check up today and things look great! Baby A is still head down and that crazy, always moving, Baby B is laying horizontally. Baby A is 4 pounds and Baby B is not far behind! The Doc did check and fortunately there is no dilation at this point so we can hope to enjoy our next week in Orlando resting and visiting with family! This adorable picture of Hank and Kennedy was taken on my phone today at the Dr's office. Please help us to pray for an uneventful two more weeks!!

Busy Summer Activities
This is a busy week! Gabi has Vacation Bible School all week and I have a ton of appointments. Kennedy has been splitting his time between VBS and going to appts with me. They are both experiencing separation anxiety from time to time. It makes me feel terrible, but they are in for even more of a surprise when the twins arrive!
Last weekend was nice with the Shower and the visit from Izabella and Baby Lexi! Here are some adorable pictures from Gabi's cousins visiting this weekend!

Twins shower
Tonight was such a lovely evening! We had our baby shower to celebrate our twin girls. It was gorgeous, of course, because Miss Rachel and my Mom have been busy getting things ready all week. It was a breathtaking spread and tasted even better! I truly appreciate all of my friends who were able to take the time out of their busy lives to celebrate with us! I had friends from all walks of life that attended and that made it even more special! Everyone brought wonderful gifts of twins clothes and diapers. Plus, a group of family and friends got together and ordered the stroller that I have been wanting for the our expanding family of 4 kids! Check it out..They ordered the Scarlett colored one!
Oh my, it was such a beautiful night and I cannot say enough how pleased I am! Thank you so much for helping me to have a special night and celebrate these two little girls that are kicking me as we speak! Enjoy the pictures. I intended to take more, but it just didn't happen!

Gabi turns 3!!!!!!!
Gabi turned 3 yesterday!!! Wow, we cannot believe it...time certainly does fly! She had her check up today and she is 35 1/2 inches tall (20%) and 25 1/2 lbs (3%). She is still petite, but very muscular, so the doc has no worries! Dr. B did have a face to face talk with Gabi about getting rid of her pull-ups and that she needs to go in the potty like a big girl now! It was very sweet. What does this really mean?? That I have to get her trained, no more messing around!
The cutest part of the day was everyone calling her and singing the Birthday song....she would get so giggly and happy and just say "again"! She LOVED it! Then we went to her friend Isabelle's house and had cupcakes to celebrate. We sang to her and as soon as we finished the last line, Kennedy promptly blew out the candles before Gabi even got a chance to take a breath! It was hysterical, so we lit the candles again and let Gabi have her turn! She wasn't upset, she just looked at the cupcake like "what happened"?. I just love those moments when something adorable happens out of the blue!

Sans Conference in Orlando
We were home less than a week and packed up the family to go to Orlando for Hank to attend the Sans Conference. We stayed at the Disney Dolphin which has a great family atmosphere. While Hank was plugging away all day and into the evenings with the Sans people, the kids and i were enjoying all that Orlando has to offer. I took the kids to Sea World, one of their favorite places to go. Aunt Patti was able to join us several days after work and on the weekend to play with us! We tired her out going to the parks and the pool, and shopping!!! Cheli & Rick also joined us a bit which was great! We went to Epcot with them and played in the pool. Izzie and Lexi seemed to have a good time. One day Sandra & Christy made it over from Gainesville with their kids. I watched baby Ella and Kennedy and they took their girls and Gabi to Epcot. That evening Patti joined them at Magic Kingdom and Hank and I watched Ella & KK. I some pictures up now but more soon for you to enjoy.

Cruise 2008
March 29-April5th Hank and I took what could be our last cruise alone together for a while....well not completely alone, the twins were definitely with us....never giving my belly a break! Gabi and Kennedy stayed with my parents and had a blast not missing us until the 8th day. Thanks Mom, Dad, and Aunt Patti for keeping them entertained and taking such great care of them!
Our trip was just wonderful, we went to San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola, and Nassau. The weather was almost perfect, we only had one partially rainy day. We went to small private beaches in St. Thomas and Antigua. We saw lots of sea life snorkeling and even met some huge iguanas up close. We walked the streets of San Juan and bought the girls matching outfits for their Christening from the famous Linen House. In Tortola, we took a tour of the country in an air conditioned F350(being big and pregnant they let Hank and I sit up front with the driver) and had the best time chatting up the driver. The views were spectacular!! in Nassau, we took a boat taxi to Atlantis and looked around then went to the famous straw market before returning to the ship.
As for the Cruise itself, what's not to love??? Great company, the ocean, the sun, food, shows, games... We ate breakfast with Mom and Rob and had dinner every night with the entire Fields group. Which consisted of Mom,Rob, Kyle, Jan, Kim, Benny, Christy, Jennifer, Lee, Justin, Josh, Connor, Grace, Joanie, Jennifer's Mom Judy, Jim, Robbie, Ray, Margaret, Cliff, Lisa, Alexis, Hank, and Myself. There were 24 of us total! Just think soon our family will fill up 6 spots wherever we go! I will post the pictures soon, we have some fabulous pictures!!

Double the Big News!!!!

Double the News because...we are having TWINS!!! Yes, that'll be 4 total in 3 years for the Sawyers! We are THRILLED!! Presently, we are 20 weeks along and just found out yesterday that the twins are going to be GIRLS....identical Girls!! They are both measuring exactly the same at 11 ounces. Gabi tells everyone "2 babies" and holds up two fingers....its adorable...too bad she doesn't realize what that really means when they come out!
As for the rest of our business, Gabi and Kennedy are both getting big. Gabi is definitely the big, sassy sister and often tells her brother exactly what to do and gets very annoyed when he doesn't get it. Kennedy is turning into a toddler in front of our eyes! Everyday it is something new. He has some words which he says very clearly, such as, blanket, ball, throw, no, mine, more please, outside, and Gabi! He now gets into everything he can and likes to throw things that we do not want him to throw. Gotta watch this little guy, he has quite an arm for such a little tot. Hank is tremendously busy with UF work, blogging for Dark Reading, tons of extra writing for Dark Reading and Network Computing, and being Daddy! He is so wonderful to help me when I am having a rough day with the pregnancy, as I am still not quite keeping things down. Despite the yuckiness that I feel most days, I have been keeping busy with the kids and helping out at the Church with Music and kid stuff.
Try to view the Ultrasound of the Twins by clicking here it may take a few mins to download or may be too big for your system, so no promises. It does require Quicktime which I'm sure most of you have. Also, there are some new pics that I will post shortly.

Summer is Flying by...
WOw,,, I can't believe how quickly time is flying. Everyone says with kids it goes by faster and they could not be more right! Gabi has now turned 2 and Kennedy has just turned 1.
Gabi is a little busy spirit, full of energy and creativity. SHe loves to color, draw, and role play with her toys.
Kennedy is a crawling machine! He is not walking yet, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. He loves to follow Gabi around, and push toy cars all around the house.
We have been traveling a ton. Visiting with the Grandparents and Aunts & Uncles. The kids are great travelers and enjoy the new environments.
Hope you are doing well. CHeck your mailbox soon, we are sending you something!
Tons of Love xoxox

April Update
We may have increased our family this past year, but it certainly hasn't slowed us down much.
Here's an update on the kids:
Gabi runs, jumps, climbs and talks in Gabi speak a good bit. Sometimes we even know what she says. Some of her favorite new words are, "Ready?", "I see you", "NEH"(that's what she calls her blankets), and of course, "baby brother". She calls every baby that she sees "baby brother" it is so cute.
Kennedy sat up from belly on the floor this week! It was very exciting and Hank was home to witness the big accomplishment. Kennedy is practicing the sitting up part so much that he has left the crawling to be discovered at a later date. Every time he looks like he is going to crawl he gets to his hands and knees and rocks right up into sitting position.
It feels like we are busier than ever. We have been traveling for Conferences, visiting family, and taking short family trips on weekends. We have many new pictures to post. I will be adding some of them now, but keep checking our gallery.
