Double the Big News!!!!

Double the News because...we are having TWINS!!! Yes, that'll be 4 total in 3 years for the Sawyers! We are THRILLED!! Presently, we are 20 weeks along and just found out yesterday that the twins are going to be GIRLS....identical Girls!! They are both measuring exactly the same at 11 ounces. Gabi tells everyone "2 babies" and holds up two fingers....its adorable...too bad she doesn't realize what that really means when they come out!

As for the rest of our business, Gabi and Kennedy are both getting big. Gabi is definitely the big, sassy sister and often tells her brother exactly what to do and gets very annoyed when he doesn't get it. Kennedy is turning into a toddler in front of our eyes! Everyday it is something new. He has some words which he says very clearly, such as, blanket, ball, throw, no, mine, more please, outside, and Gabi! He now gets into everything he can and likes to throw things that we do not want him to throw. Gotta watch this little guy, he has quite an arm for such a little tot. Hank is tremendously busy with UF work, blogging for Dark Reading, tons of extra writing for Dark Reading and Network Computing, and being Daddy! He is so wonderful to help me when I am having a rough day with the pregnancy, as I am still not quite keeping things down. Despite the yuckiness that I feel most days, I have been keeping busy with the kids and helping out at the Church with Music and kid stuff.

How Hot can it get???

As Summer is trying to keep us so warm that we hradly want to be outside for 5 minutes, we have ben having a great time! Check out some of our great new Summer pics!

Summer is Flying by...

WOw,,, I can't believe how quickly time is flying. Everyone says with kids it goes by faster and they could not be more right! Gabi has now turned 2 and Kennedy has just turned 1.
Gabi is a little busy spirit, full of energy and creativity. SHe loves to color, draw, and role play with her toys.
Kennedy is a crawling machine! He is not walking yet, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. He loves to follow Gabi around, and push toy cars all around the house.
We have been traveling a ton. Visiting with the Grandparents and Aunts & Uncles. The kids are great travelers and enjoy the new environments.

April Update

We may have increased our family this past year, but it certainly hasn't slowed us down much.

Here's an update on the kids:
Gabi runs, jumps, climbs and talks in Gabi speak a good bit. Sometimes we even know what she says. Some of her favorite new words are, "Ready?", "I see you", "NEH"(that's what she calls her blankets), and of course, "baby brother". She calls every baby that she sees "baby brother" it is so cute.
Kennedy sat up from belly on the floor this week! It was very exciting and Hank was home to witness the big accomplishment. Kennedy is practicing the sitting up part so much that he has left the crawling to be discovered at a later date. Every time he looks like he is going to crawl he gets to his hands and knees and rocks right up into sitting position.

It feels like we are busier than ever. We have been traveling for Conferences, visiting family, and taking short family trips on weekends. We have many new pictures to post. I will be adding some of them now, but keep checking our gallery.

Back in Town

Well, Now that we are back in town, we spent the day playing with Sandra & Lena. And boy did we get some wonderful shots of the kids. Check them out. They will make you laugh and melt your heart!

January Update

Well this past week has been quite a whirlwind.....Hank joined his family in Park City Utah for the Sundance Film Festival. Where he not only watched 8 films and getting photos with lots of famous movie stars, but spent quite a bit of time snowboarding, Snowmobiling and snow tubing. He also made a new friend of a designer for the stars. He makes rock bands and got one for each of us! You will definitely enjoy some of these photos!

The kids and I joined my parents and Patti and flew to Colorado to visit with my Mom's family. It was a very low key visit, but pleasant. The snow and mountains were beautiful! I will post these pictures as soon as my mother gets them to me.

Brunch Playgroup

Today we hosted a Bunch playgroup! It was a huge success! We did miss some of our friends who could not make it, but we tried our best to have fun for them too! We got some great shots of the kids having a blast! Take a look!! Let us know which one is your favorite!

UNBELIEVABLE MOMENT!!!!!!!!!

Everyone says you will have unbelievable moments with your kids and I certainly had one today. I put Gabi down for a nap in her crib and I went to my room and took a nap with Kennedy. The next thing I know Gabi is standing at my bed calling me! I was a bit disoriented at first , then I realized "OH CRAP, she got out of her crib"! SO I got up to see what she got into.....Apparently I left the bathroom door open because she was in her crib and I didn't have to worry about her going in there......there was water all over the bathroom floor because she had been playing in the toilet and one of her arms was wet up to the shoulder!!!!!!!! Thank God Hank had just cleaned the bowl! Then I took her to her room and put her in her crib and she hiked up her leg and just let herself fall out of her crib. And she pranced around grinning so proud of herself the rest of the afternoon!!
UNBelievable!
Now I have to super cautious!!!!

Holidays were a Blast!!!

Wow! We had a thrilling Holiday Break! We visited My parents and Hank's parents! Gabi & Kennedy got lots of toys and other great stuff too! I just put up some of the pics so take a look at the Best of Christmas 2006.

Fun & Busy Times

Wow! It is amazing how quickly time passes by! Kennedy is almost 6 months old and Gabi is 18 months.

Gabi is walking, talking, running, she gives hugs and high Fives. She is in gymnastics, which she loves!!! Here are a few of the words she says: I Love You, Daddy, WoW, Thank you, Up, Night Night, Bye Bye, and several more.

Kennedy can almost sit up on his own. He loves to smile and he has the most adorable laugh! He is being treated for infant asthma daily and seems to be handling it very well.

We will be traveling to Tampa and Orange Park over the Holidays to visit with family.

This gave me a good excuse to start moving our websites over to our new server at Dreamhost.com. It may be Wed night or sometime Thurs before I can get the massive 4800+ photo gallery moved from our server at home to Dreamhost.com. We will keep you posted.

No! We have not fallen off the face of the earth!

No! We have not fallen off the face of the earth! We were spending time with Hank's parents in Orange Park while he was in Vegas for Defcon(a computer hacking conference) where he and his team competed and won first place in the Capture the Flag Hacking contest. We are home now for two weeks, then off to COlorado and New Mexico for three weeks. CAn you believe all the drama with the airports now. BOy is it going to be frustrating taking no fluids with a 14 month old and a newborn. And we were planning on going only about 40 minutes early so we did not have to worry about Gabi getting to antsy, but now they are requiring us to go 2 hours ahead of time....arggghhh....and my husband is not going...I must be out of my mind!!!!!!! Luckily, my Mom will be with me to help out. But I am so looking forward to seeing our family that I am sure it will be worth it in the long run.

Gabi & Kennedy are doing fine. Click Here for updated pictures of them in August! Gabi is getting bigger and loves toexplore and play independently(which is a BIG help to me). Kennedy
still gets the jitters every day, but it is usually only once or twice a day. His hearing exam at Shands went GREAT!!! He passed the second test, only after failing the first test where they used a different apparatus in his ear. The doctor said that we don't need to do any further testing...YEAH!!!

I, on the other hand must have a grey cloud floating above me. We went from nausea & vomitting to hurting my shoulder. I did go to my doctor when I was still in pain two days later and found out that I have a torn or partial torn rotator cuff. And Boy does it hurt. SO now I have to go see a shoulder specialist. I have to say that for someone who typically likes going to the doctor, I am growing very weary of the many trips to see the doctor.

Well, off to feed the baby!

Gabi goes mobile!

It was inevitable. We knew it would happen. We just didn't know what it would be like when we first saw it happen. I never thought I would say, "Thankfully, Sarah was feeling really sick, so I stayed home to help with Gabi that morning." Well, I am saying that now because if she wasn't feeling so terrible, I wouldn't have been home to witness Gabi crawling for the first time. She has gone backwards before which doesn't count. This had full forward momentum. It was very cool to witness. Sarah was thrilled that she didn't have to call me at the office to tell me what I missed. It was wonderful. We both had a few little tears together.

We have taken quite a few pictures of Gabi all over the place, playing with friends and eating. That's it for now.

Valentine's Party at the Moyer's

Well, Gabi went to her first Valentine's Party! We had a great time with all the other Moms, Dads, and Babies! Check out the Pictures here!

I know it has been a while

HI Everyone! I know that I have not been updating you as I should...I am still trying to get rest and not over do it with this new pregnancy and stay healthy. I have some good days.

So, there are a few new albums to catch you up... Today, Gabi and I went to the Santa Fe Zoo with some of our Mommy friends and their little ones.
