gabi words of the day!
this evening I was rcoking Gabi to sleep and she says," Mommy you forgot to take of your spikey's.. and now I am hurting under here." and first I thought.."What?" but then I realized that the spikey's are the hairs on my legs because I have not shaved them in a few days.

Busy times
So the last few weeks have been very busy! We finally moved into our new house!! YAY!!! We are thrilled to have room to spread out and for all kids to have a safe and spacious place to play. I will post some pictures later.
Hank and I have a new neice, Jaden Addison, and she was almost born on Hank's brithday! We are very excited for her arrival and that her parents are getting to experience the unbelieveable bundle of love and sleepiness that a baby brings!
As for the kiddos, Gabi & Kennedy have been super companions. Riding bikes together on our new porch and playing dress up. Gabi is still intrigued by Bugs and has been spending too much time letting beetles, rollypolies, and other small bugs crawl on her. Kennedy has been talking up a storm, which for those of you who know him well is a huge step. He enjoys pretending to be super heroes and has recently impressed us by running circles in the new house at more than a snails pace! Gabi loves to be the Mother Hen and tell him things and then say, "Yes Ma'am?" to which he replies in his little man voice, "yes, Ma'am." And yes, he responds to her much more quickly than he does to me! They have both been so kind to Piper & Phoebe and enjoy sitting with the twins, making faces at them, and bringing them toys. Gabi gently rubs their heads and gives them a kiss on the head. It melts my heart that she wants to show them love on a regular basis!
Piper & Phoebe had their nine month check up and are now 14lbs, 6 oz and 14lbs, 4oz. They have fallen off the charts by the official standards but seem to be thriving and we are thrilled with their gain since that mere 4 lbs at birth! They are both sitting very well on their own and play with toys and are feeding themselves finger food now. they look incredibly tiny sitting in their booster seats! We don't see and crawling or walking signs happening yet, but I am happy to have them wait! the longer they sit, the more time I have to prepare the new house for exploring toddlers!
Aunt Patti came to visit us from Texas this week which has been a huge highlight for the kids! Boy, does Gabi love her Aunt Patti!
Hank is doing great! Busy blogging, writing and keeping up with many changes at work. And I have been doing a bit more singing these days. He and I are so happy to be settling in and spending quality time with eachother and friends.
I will be posting photos soon and even a few more funny stories. For now at 3:51 am I am off to get some shut eye! Much love to you all!

First Pets
Grandma CIndi got the kids Ant Mazes and Bug Catcher necklaces. Yes, we really spent 2 hours collecting Ants and Flies. The first pets are flies.. Kennedy's fly is named Cogo and Gabi's fly is named JoJo.

What will we hear next!
On A daily basis, Gabi & Kennedy both have us cracking up about something! Sometimes we truly have to contain our laughter until later when it would be more appropriate as a parent to laugh.
In the movie Mulan II, there is a popstar who covers the theme song at the very end and sings the phrase, "NO Platform Shoes"...but Kennedy sings " No Panty Shoes"! I kid you not, he really does say that EVERYTIME!!
Gabi likes to tell us what we can or can not do. And how well we are doing it. For example, HAnk was peeling eggs and the kids were "helping". Gabi walks around the corner to where I am pumping and says, "Mommy, Daddy is NOT doing the bang bang before he rolls the egg. " TO which I explain to her that Daddy is bigger and can do it another way if he wants. In all honestly, my "bang bang, then roll "technique did work better. :-)
REcently, Hank and I walked out of our bedroom to find Gabi Telling Kennedy something about his penis...What?..that's right, he had been in the bath and we had not yet put his diaper back on. SHe looked up and saw us and said, MOmmy, Kennedy is pulling his penis in and back out. We then informed him that he needed to leave his penis ALONE! Hank preceeded to grab a pull-up and lay Kennedy down. DArn it if he wasn't "pitching a tent"~ Ughhh!!! And he is only 2!
Tonight, Gabi with her eyes almost tearing up, said to me.."Mommy, I think I am a little nervous without my white kitty in my bedroom." She then proceeded to go find her white kitty. So totally understood what nervous meant!!! I am still shocked!
She also informed me that she will ask a Mommy if she can hold Baby J if she cries. And that if you hold Baby J by yourself without asking for help then you have to go to time out. Hopefully, Aunt Christy she will follow her own advice!! :- )
more to come....

Our Knight in armor!
hanging out the back! We did not get any pictures of that even thought it was very funny. He walks around saying, "Hiya" and " I win!" (which he pronuounces I wint, with a very loud "T" sound at the end.)
Of course, Gabi doesn't like to be left out so she dresses up as a princess and we usually have a pretend sword fight then the princess and Knight dance together while I sing one of the requested Disney songs.

Gabi's goofy phrases
Gabi has some new hilarious phrases!!!
WE often find her saying...
" Are you goofying me?"
" Just forget about it"
"Are you kidding me?"
"Just cut it out."
She has a tendency to use them one right after another . For example, I will ask her to get in her car seat and she will say, " Are you kidding me? , "just forget about it". Such a goofball.
